Root Canal Treatment with Branson Family Dentistry

Branson Family Dentistry is an area leader in root canal treatment (endodontics), which is often simply called a ‘root canal.’ This treatment is important for preservation of a tooth that has irreparable damage or infection, often times exhibiting pain or sensitivity. The endodontic process entails removal of the immediately damaged part of the tooth (the pulp), cleaning and disinfecting it, filling up and sealing. Typical cases include a cracked tooth, a deep cavity or trauma to the tooth.

Dr. Andrea Eidson, Dr. Hall and the BFD staff know that just thinking about getting a root canal can make one’s tooth ache and ongoing oral pain. Branson Family Dentistry patients should rest easy as modern dental technology and anesthesia makes this process virtually painless.  Most root canals are completed on the same day in our Branson clinic so that our patients aren’t walking around in pain for long periods of time.
